El Balcón Dorado is a family hotel run by Jhim Rodríguez and his wife Hilda Banda, both natives of Cuzco. Jhim began his study of tourism in Cusco, then continued in Business Administration at the University of Arequipa. During these years he traveled the Cusco-Puno-Bolivia-Arequipa-Lima route, and in 1997 he established himself in Lima in order to work in his chosen field.
With his specialization in Tourism and Hotel - Keeping, Jhim is well acquainted with programs and tours offered in the cities of southern Peru, such as Cusco (Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, the Inca Trail), Puno, Arequipa (the Colca Canyon), Nazca, Pisco, Paracas, the Ballestas Islands, and others.
